The Typhoon replaces restrictive and certainly less attractive OEM parts with high-performance, hot-looking components. But, the Typhoon doesn’t get by on just good looks alone. Its higher airflow and cooler temps yield increases of 5-15 horsepower. Available in four street-ready powder-coat finishes for most models – Sparkle Red, Blue, Silver or highly-polished aluminum. K&N has created three styles of Typhoon based on the specs of your specific vehicle; Cold Air (CA) intake, Short Ram (SR) intake and the Complete Cold Air (CCA) intake which can be configured as either a Cold Air intake or a Short Ram intake.
